Great atmosphere and very authentic Italian experience. Great for quick lunch or relaxing dinner occasion. I've frequented all of the other Italian restaurants in B.R. for decades; this one has become the best... never disappointing!
Most authentic Italian in Baton Rouge. If it's your 1st time there, order the Twice Baked Lasagna with a Caesar Salad W/Chicken.
Best spaghetti and meat sauce! I've only been twice and yet both times the food was amazing! Definitely will be going more often!
The sweet marinara sauce here isn't for everyone, but it's what keeps me coming back because it makes everything on the menu taste different from anywhere else. The chicken and eggplant parmesans here are unbelievable. Definitely try the Shrimp Aurora if you love cheese and want a signature dish that will keep you coming back.
Let me start by saying the food was amazing! Waiter was very nice and attentive but not too pushy. We ordered lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, and lasagna sampler. Everything prepared to perfection and we had left overs. We will definitely be back
My wife and I really enjoy this Italian restaurant. If you are a fan of a sweet red sauce then this is your place. I personally recommend the shrimp aurora. It is a nice blend of alfredo and red sauce. Dishes are always served piping hot and fresh!
Visited back in May with a friend. It's easy enough to find along the strip with plenty of parking in front. The waiter was wonderful and so was the bartender! (My friend got a long island iced to go with her food.) We even ended up dining outside in the front. Lovely atmosphere, great people, awesome food, and nice prices for great portion sizes.
The food was amazing - our group shared so we could try several items. The spaghetti was superb, the Meatball poboy was delightful, the marinara was superb. What a great place to eat - but not only was the food AMAZING - but the service was GREAT!!! Now found treasure of a restaurant for us!!
Place is consistent. Always decent service and clean little place. Italian vibe and wonderful layout. I appreciate the fact they never try to be something they aren't. Overselling you on looks and not with food. Amazing sauce with the bread, great lasagna and all pastas. Cute and value for price ..
This was such a cute hidden gem! The atmosphere is so romantic, so gorgeous, and inviting. If there is any connotation the food was good.. please advert your eyes to no photo whatsoever. I totally forgot to even take one! The meatball was huge and photos wouldn't have even done it justice. I paid $20 for my meal minus the tip and it honestly shocked me when i got the receipt. I went for lunch and they give you complementary garlic bread and marinara sauce (that you can continue to ask for more of when ur finish might i add). All of it was absolutely perfect. I really recommend this place and the olives in the salad was chef's kiss. Go! For a date, For lunch, For an atmospheric romantic place to read a book and grab lunch. Its perfect.
